The Amazing Adventures of a Zoobroker and a Sentiographer
I finally got some of my black-and-white 4x5" images back. These are photographs of them, not scans. 4th of July from our balcony:
The following three are from Monday night down not he Platte River under Speen St and 15th St in Denver.
37 is a prime number. It is the first irregular prime.
You should not try and figure out what the point of irregular primes might be. It doesn't mean anything.
But Matt is irregular and prime, so 37 is a good age.
We celebrated the very beginning of Matt's birthday by Making Art. That is, a photo shoot at Star Bar, where Britt makes her magic.

I shot this as a digital test last night. I made 3 more 4x5 exposures after this - sending out for processing today.
So, we found My Brother's Bar earlier. But it became out favorite last night. Four or five Stranahans, two 90 Shillings, a Jameson... wow.
I met Britt back in February. She's saucy. She's an incredible mixologist. Her superpower is to get me to shut up with just a glance. I'm not going to lie. Getting a little intertwined whilst fixing the ceiling fan was a little ... something. Too bad the fan blade clocked me in the head and knocked me out.
This is Britt's default gesture.
We met Mary McPoppinson at Biker Jim's Hot Dog stand. She was chowing down on her dog and hoping to join our conversation while pretending to read a Westword.
She got a little too familiar quickly. She was texting a "friend" of hers and I offered to help.
Look closely at my sent message.
Rule #113: If a stranger offers to help you compose your thoughts via SMS, run screaming.
Rule #417: If you expect to be slapped on a regular basis, growing a beard provides a nice cushion. Rule #301: There are worse places to drink a bloody maria in an empty bar than Scruffy McFiddlefaddens.

Zoo and I moseyed over to My Brother's Bar tonight. Great greasy bar food, conversation was fun and the staff was user-friendly. Recommend it.
